Dominion Donates $35,000 To Power Plant Technology Program
The Dominion Foundation donated $35,000 recently to advance Williamson’s Power Plant Technology’s Energy Island Project. Dominion is one of the nation’s largest producers and transporters of energy and is located locally in Fairless Hills, Pa. The company provides electricity, natural gas, and related services in 15 states in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast regions. Williamson’s gift was one of six given to Pennsylvania schools.
Thomas F. Farrell II, Dominion’s chairman, president, and chief executive officer, said “We encourage projects that invoke critical thinking and relevant learning. Pennsylvania students must be prepared to meet the challenges ahead, particularly in the fields of science and energy.”
