Williamson Receives $10,000 From Bock Foundation
Williamson received $10,000 from the Bock Foundation’s 21st Annual Charity Golf Outing at the Bucks Club in Jamison, Pa., recently.
The event was held in memory of Jean M. and Ernest F. Bock, founders of Ernest Bock & Sons, Inc., a 61-year-old general construction and construction management firm based in the Greater Northeast of Philadelphia. Now run by their sons Tom and Ernie, the company specializes in new construction, custom rehabilitation, and restoration. They have worked on such projects as restaurants, hotels, hospitals, assisted living and elderly housing, townhouses, commercial buildings, schools, and country clubs.
President Michael Rounds, KC Cassell, vice president of institutional advancement, and Pete D’Orazio, director of leadership giving, didn’t golf but were on hand meeting with the Foundation’s members. Five students helped throughout the day with such things as registration, and met with representatives of various trades involved in the outing.
D’Orazio said, “We are very happy to receive this generous gift from the Bock Foundation and to have been a part of their outing. It was especially nice for our students to help out at this event and meet many representatives of the trades.”
The students who participated, all seniors, were Curtis Chambers, Tom Fitzgerald, Zach Matteo, Nick Fredericks, and Nick Stewart.
