Williamson’s Many Volunteers Are Celebrated!
First Lady Mary Nell Rounds hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Celebration to honor Williamson’s many dedicated volunteers and thank them for their hard work and faithful support on May 12.
The evening began in the dining room with dinner prepared by Tim Burbage, director of food services, and student servers on hand to help out. Chairman Wayne Watson 4W8 thanked the crowd for their service to Williamson and then Rounds addressed the audience saying, “Volunteering at Williamson is more than saving the school money. It is about touching the lives of the students and making a positive impression. Thank you for your commitment to making Williamson the special place that it is.”
After dinner, guests walked to the President’s house for a nice assortment of deserts and much socializing.
