Alumni and Friends Enjoy 41st Golf Outing

The weather was perfect for the 41st Annual Golf Outing on June 2, when 132 golfers, possibly a new attendance record, met at Paxon Hollow Golf Club to play the 4-man best ball scramble format.

The outing was organized by the new committee of Marty Jeffers 7W6, Bob Eplett 7W6, and Ron Rinker 8W5, taking over from Jim Bowdler 8W8 who ran it for many years.

Jeffers said, “The weather was perfect and all the golfers had a great time. We couldn’t have asked for a better Golf Outing. The staff at Paxon Hollow was great to work with and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food served at the luncheon was very good. We appreciate all the alumni who came out and made this a great success. We also appreciate President Rounds stopping by to visit golfers while they played and making some remarks at our luncheon. We are already looking forward to next year’s outing.”
