Lallo 7W9 Joins Board of Trustees
Art J. Lallo 7W9, Ph.D., a V-22 engineering manager at the Boeing Co., has joined Williamson’s board of trustees as chairman of the Education Committee, announced Wayne C. Watson 4W8, board chairman.
Watson said, “We are excited to have someone with Dr. Lallo’s experience in education join our board. He is a wonderful addition to our board and has much insight and experience to offer. We are fortunate to have him with us and we are looking forward to working with him as we move Williamson forward.”
Lallo said, “I am honored to be part of the Williamson team and to have the opportunity to serve and support the school that changed my life. Since graduation it has been my dream to contribute to the Williamson legacy and pass on to new generations what I had been so fortunate to experience in my life. I have dedicated my whole life to continuous education and committed myself to the betterment of myself, my family, and society. In my opinion, Williamson is the ‘Harvard of trade schools’ and it will be my mission to make it even better. It doesn’t get any better than Williamson and this fact is proven over and over again by alumni who are serving society and instilling values across our great nation.”
Lallo, who graduated from Williamson in 1979, has been with Boeing since 1979 as composite technology manager, tool engineering manager, senior operations manger, and affordability program manager for the V-22 Osprey Program.
He also is an adjunct teacher at Widener University’s School of Business Administration and School of Engineering.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering at Drexel University, and master’s degrees in engineering management and business administration and a doctorate degree in higher education at Widener University.
