CNC Operations Instructor Needed!
Alumni and Friends,
Williamson needs your assistance in finding an experienced CNC programmer/operator to teach CNC operations to our seniors. This is the final shop experience of their three-year education and training here at Williamson College of the Trades.
The Shop Director, Mr. Carmen Martella, is focusing on regaining his health and will return in the fall. Until now, the seniors have been occupied with a Delcam University online course teaching the program Featurecam and have been overseeing and mentoring freshmen working on their projects. However, it has been very difficult to find someone who can step in at this time to teach them CNC.
We can be flexible with the students’ schedule: evening classes are possible; we will even consider having Saturday classes. Two or more machinists could even “team-teach” the students. We are open to thinking out of the box if it will help achieve the goal of our seniors being well educated and trained.
Needless to say, time is of the essence. Please use your professional networks to help find the person(s) who could be the solution to this problem. Direct suggestions to Dean Sam Wrightson at swrightson@williamson.edu or (610) 566-1776 ext. 428.
