The Passing of Ken Nelson, Our Longtime Carpentry Director

We regret to inform the Williamson community of the passing at 2:15 today of our cherished co-worker and longtime carpentry director, Ken Nelson, after a battle with cancer.

President Michael Rounds said, “It is with great sadness that I make the announcement of the passing of our friend and co-worker Ken Nelson. Today he lost his courageous fight against cancer that took him away from us all too soon. Ken led our carpentry program for many years and impacted the lives of hundreds of our students; we will miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers go out at this time to his family and friends.”
