“Introduction to Large Thermal Power Generation Plants,” a 3-day continuing education course, focuses on large, field-erected steam generators with a 500,000 to 7 million pounds per hour steam-generation rate. It runs from July 11-13 on campus and will provide you with a wealth of information in power generation and 16 PDHs.
Topics include steam generation and boiler fundamentals, large utility coal boilers, boiler design, low Nox burners, combustion airflow minimums, and power generation economics, to list only a few.
