To safeguard and promote the future of Williamson in making a difference in the lives of its students and the community, it is the fiduciary responsibility of the Board and Administration to continually explore all viable sources of revenue and development. Over the past six months, Williamson’s Board of Trustees, through focused committee action, has been exploring the question of the college accepting government student financial aid, exclusively through the Federal Pell and Pennsylvania PHEAA Grant programs. This is a question that has not been taken lightly, and a significant amount of research has been gathered in exploring an array of topics and issues.
Certainly this is a topic that may generate questions throughout the Williamson community. A fundamental requirement of the committee has been the need for transparency as it explores this funding option. It is vitally important that this question is assessed with research and data. Please join us on January 18th at 6:00 pm in the Williamson Chapel for an in-depth presentation on the Pell and PHEAA initiative.
If you are unable to join us in the Chapel, the presentation will also be Live Streamed – accessible by computer, tablet, or smartphone – on this page and on Facebook. We encourage the entire Williamson community to join us for this important presentation and discussion.
Following the presentation in the Chapel, please join us in fellowship at our Wing Night celebration in the Dining Room.
