
National Power Magazine Features Williamson
Thousands of power industry professionals across the country and abroad will soon know of Williamson College of the Trades and its Lee Rowan School of Power Plant Technology after reading a major article featured on the cover of this month’s issue of POWER magazine. The article covers Williamson’s mission and the advances made toward creating an Energy Island. It was written by our own Michele Minicozzi, director of grants and research, with technical input from Trustee Richard Storm 6W2 and Scott Chilman, director of power plant technology.

Introduction to Large Thermal Power Generation Plants
After reading the article, if you are inspired to learn more about power creation you can get a lesson from some accomplished Williamson power alumni. From July 17-19 Williamson is presenting a continuing education course entitled “Introduction to Large Thermal Power Generation Plants” on campus. You will earn 16 PDHs and have the unique experience of touring five power plants.
