8 Williamson Students Take Gold Medals at SkillsUSA States!
Williamson’s reputation for producing outstanding tradesmen and well-behaved gentlemen was further cemented across the state as the 18 students in the SkillsUSA state competitions in Hershey, competing in groups and solo, took eight gold, six silver, and two bronze medals.
SkillsUSA advisor and paint shop instructor John Curran 0W5 said, “The state competitions were another awesome showing of what kind of education young men receive at Williamson College of the Trades. The students were well behaved and demonstrated their skill for all to see. We had an excellent time. A big thank you goes to Pete and Mike for all their help this week. We’re looking forward to showing the nation what we can do this June in Kentucky.”
