Extremely Successful All-Class Reunion Celebration Held
As part of Commencement and reunion celebrations held during the weekend of June 4-5, alumni from classes ending in ‘0’ or ‘5’ between the years 1975-2020 attended the annual All-Class Reunion.
Traditionally held in the fall, the reunion was delayed due to COVID-19, but the event was well worth the wait. Hosted at the Springfield Country Club, the dinner reception welcomed back over 130 alumni and guests! Classmates enjoyed catching-up with old friends, former instructors, and current faculty members. Board Chairman Bill Bonenberger 7W9 and his wife Janet attended to welcome all the guests, as well as trustees Nick Davey 8W5 and Chris Moyer 0W0, who were celebrating their 35th and 20th reunions, respectively.
All attendees received a commemorative Williamson alumni pint glass as their special reunion gift. The overwhelming success of the event would not have been possible without the support of the dedicated class representatives and alumni volunteers who worked closely with Williamson’s Advancement Office staff to get the word out about the event to their classmates.
Looking ahead to next year, Williamson is pleased to announce that the All-Class Reunion will be part of a larger Reunion Weekend and Alumni Day celebration in the spring. The next All-Class Reunion will welcome alumni from classes ending in ‘1’, ‘6’, ‘7’ and ‘2’ on Friday, June 3, 2022. Save the date – more details soon!
