Alumni Association’s Golf Outing is Huge Success!

With a full-to-capacity 144 golfers, the Alumni Association’s 47th Annual George Patton 6W6 Golf Outing at the Paxon Hollow Golf Course on June 7 was a huge success.

It didn’t matter if your golfing skills were top-notch or you were a beginner, playing in a foursome made it fun for all.

The results were:
1st place — Kevin Gardner, Joe Barajas, Brian Rouss, and Jason Law.

2nd place — Brian Cosgrove 7W9, Brad Cosgrove, Bob Morlock, and Bill Damico

3rd place — Jim Bowdler 8W8, Brian Kaufman 8W8, and Mike Van Horn 8W8

At the close of golfing, the entire group enjoyed a buffet luncheon in the clubhouse and many door prizes. A surprise event was John Rex 7W5, Alumni Association president, presenting Marty Jeffers 7W6 with the Association’s Alumnus of the Year Award.

The outing was planned by the committee of Marty Jeffers 7W6 and Ron Rinker 8W5. Helping out that day were John Rex 7W5 and Kevin Hatch 0W8. Laura Brown, Williamson’s director of alumni relations, also helped throughout the day.
