Capacity Crowd Makes Golf Outing Successful – and Fun!
With a full-to-capacity 144 golfers, the Alumni Association’s 48th Annual George Patton 6W6 Golf Outing at the Paxon Hollow Golf Course on June 6 was a huge success. There also were two hole-in-ones.
It didn’t matter if your golfing skills were top-notch or you were a beginner, playing in a foursome made it fun for all.
The results were:
1st place — Brian Nowrey 8W3, James Nowrey, Kris Johnson, Andrew Sekula
2nd place — Dave Marofsky 9W6, Brian Zdun, Mark Meehan, Pat Gallagher 9W3
3rd place — Lee Furlong 0W3, Adam McNabb 0W1, Joe Haragos, Steve Brogan
Closest to Pin #3 — Matt Piripavel 10”
Closest to Pin #4 — Anoy Sekula 7’ 9”
Closest to Pin #18 — John Kubas 5’ 6”
Hole-in-One – Dave Dezzi 8W3 – Hole #17
Hole-in-One – Nick Mast 1W5 – Hole #1
At the close of golfing, the entire group enjoyed a buffet luncheon in the clubhouse and many door prizes.
The Outing Committee that works hard to make it a success is Marty Jeffers 7W6 and Ron Rinker 8W5.
Mark your calendars now, the 2023 Golf Outing will be held Monday, June 5, at Paxon Hollow. Stay tuned for more details.
