Rounds Receives Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation Award

President Michael J. Rounds, P.E., received the Eagle, Globe & Anchor Award from the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF) during their recent gala at the Rivers Casino in Philadelphia.

In presenting the award, John Heenan, a MC-LEF supporter, said “Mike was not a Marine. He went to West Point and served 25 years in the Army. Mike was not in law enforcement or the FBI or CIA. He is not a Medal of Honor recipient. But, Mike is an everyday hero to me. Mike does something that truly benefits America. He runs a program that turns teenage boys into productive young men. Men with character and with a trade. Young men that are very much in need in America today. Mike runs Williamson College of the Trades. We are very pleased to honor Lt. Col. Michael J. Rounds, USA (Retired) with our Eagle, Globe and Anchor Award.”

MC-LEF provides education scholarships to children of fallen Marines and law enforcement personnel. The significance of the award’s name is that the three award elements come from the Marine Corps emblem which illustrates the ability of the Marines to fight in the air, on land, and in the sea.
